The organizers of the street protests in Sudan have met the country's transitional military council in Khartoum. They say they've rejected the two-year transition period announced by the new military leader General Burhan. They're also calling for the arrest of those who have committed crimes during the four months of protests.
The US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin has said he expects the trade accord being negotiated between the United States and China will go way beyond all previous attempts to open up Chinese markets. Mr. Mnuchin said it would mark the biggest change in their trading relationship for 40 years.
